Lol what's so special with this pic,Is this even worthy to report? We've seen the worst. Much better they got jojo
This picture is very amusing!! Black people have been doing this for last 100 years no. one seems to care.
I see no news here, my people have been going through this for a long time, whats different?????z😕😕😕
Our towns water also ran dry for a year. It was pleasant to go down to the water taps, wait in the queue and hear the daily gossip. Was very pleasant. Made a lot of new friends. Not so bad was it not for the time it consumed.
At least the whites get to experience our daily struggles in the villages, carrying a 20L water bottle to fetch water from the tap which is miles away...... Now they have to start fetching firewood from the bush...... Slowly but surely, one way or the other we are approaching equality
After schoolbag, throw your 10kg tastic bag used for school take off your school uniform, wheelbarrow kom hierso 3of 25lt cointainer, 5km push. The queue is too long, you wait for 4hours till is your turn to the tap, push in da dark. Get home you tired n hungry,u still neeed to wash dishes, write 5homeworks before you go to sleep,n study for a test. So they get used to this, this aint nothing yall gonna be strong.
I wonder if they can stand in the que for long I usually see most turning red and leaving the trolleys. But w this there is no way out but que. But why not dig wells for those who can afford or even the under ground wells are dry?
>>> Although I sympathize with these Folks about their first time experience...
In my place back home in #Dongwe - #EasternCape we have been without water since 2001. We getting our water from the same Jojo tanks. And maybe in Western Cape they will do it differently once the tanks are empty they will fill them up same day unlike in Community where it takes days to weeks before they come and refill empty tanks. Like last time I arrived home on Christmas day and was told the tank was empty and never saw the Water-truck until Friday, 29th December when I went back to Johannesburg.
If this water problem was in Gauteng, plans would've been made. They'd install pipes from Eastern Cape to supply water in Gauteng. Anything Is possible, Western Cape should just come up with a PLAN and stop "praying" for rain.
This wont happen because an intellectual person will think of a way to get the water to the house one way or the other . Just like our for fathers did by inventing things like pipes, taps, to avoid to walk miles and miles to get water from the river. You can now down load the uba water tank app on google app shop.
