The worst part of the "fast lane" is when you are over taking a vehicle at max speed (allowed where you are driving) and that brain dead idiot behind you comes in at 160km/h flashing lights for you to move away, when you still busy over taking the vehicle on your left. Now those drivers need to have their license taken away.
Pet peeve, never mind hogging the 'fast' lane - those people that drive at 80 on the adjacent lane - arrrrgghh. If you're not a confident driver or if you want to drive < 80km /hr when conditions allow you to drive faster, then please for the love of chocolate cake, move over to the left.Having cars suddenly slam on brakes and do a mass avoid of a slow moving vehicle is just as dangerous as speeding.
The whole problem started when we accepted this lie callled the "fast-lane".There's no such thing as a "fast lane"It's a bloody over taking lane. You only drive in it while over taking...then you move to the bloody left...keep it clear at all times.
Driving in the fast lane is not the worst sin, the majority of people sit in the third lane of a 4 lane Highway, normally well below the speed limit. When they overtake the cars coming from behind are travelling at 120 whilst they are doing 80. People don't understand what it means to keep left.
This is by far the most difficult concept for South Africans to figure out.Keep Left, pass right. It's as if it's rocket science.
Why are trucks driving in the fast lane? They the main cause for holding up traffic. I know when I go for my license the traffic cop always tell me, just overtake if can and go back to the slow lane.
Driving too slow is dangerous. If cars could just form an orderly line at the speed limit, there will be far fewer accidents
Fast lane what is that where is it written in the K53 is 120kmph so you should be bullied by a speedster
We must also talk about 2 seconds distance.some other idiot will keep 20 seconds distance because he or she's on whatsapp.this is also a major cause of traffic.
What is "slow" though? If you're driving at 120/h and someone wants to pressure you off the lane, are you still wrong?
