It is a very good move , we can't remain stupid forever , how can one owns land if he/she is a foreign or that person is not staying here,,it is a joke ,keep it up minister of land , God bless and guides that act
The Zimbabweans fled to SA while having access to land, becUse many thought the white man will not leave Zim but opt to buy it from them and hence make a quick buck. The same thing happened during Idi Amin's time, when he chased away foreigners and told locals that whoever can set foot first on a particular property then it's his. As a result the ordinary joe down the road got a sugar refinery, but because he knew nothing about refining sugar, it collapsed and so did the economy. A word of advise before getting excited for nothing. Learn from those who have done it before as to how it's done, get knowledgable in how to use the land before you die of hunger while having it. And just something to ponder over, should all whites leave and they leave their businesses and cattle with them. Do you think the politicians of the country will give the ordinary joe the land that has a sasol garage or a block of luxury townhouses? Either way, the ordinary man will get the land that has nothing in which they will have to work for without knowledge and equipment while the politicians get all the developed land. #fact
Well done namibia. Hope all africans will follow how educated zimbabweans do things. In SA, south africans are washed away by floods whilst in shacks which they build in rivers because they are not allowed to own a piece of land in their country. They are in fact second class citizens. The only land which is available for them is the grave yard to bury them when they are dead.
That is fine but what happens if foreign investors want to build a large business or facilities that will both employ and uplift the local people? Job creation and benefits the citizens.
The problem is these Africans think wealth is in land when actually it's in production . Mmmm think about that for a second
Halala!!! Never heard such good news for a while. SA is behind you, we are looking for a dust bin to throw the ANC government.
